Hi there! We’re Watermelon Media, a creative – and imaginative – team that’s all about content marketing, social media and overall digital strategy. Most importantly, we’re experts at what we do!
From the setting up of social media campaigns and content creation to digital marketing and digital strategy, our skill is helping businesses wanting to get their messages out as creatively – and as effectively – as possible.
We have a proven track record of helping both B2B and B2C business in industries as diverse as tertiary education and digital accessories to tech start-ups and financial institutions boost their online efforts, connect with their audiences and, most importantly, show a return on their digital marketing efforts.
Our social media staff have worked with major brands to help build their online presences and our writing staff is composed of professional writers and sub-editors who have worked in the mass media for more than a decade, so you can be assured all work is of a high standard, accurate, engaging and on deadline.
After all, there is no point writing like Shakespeare if you don’t get it in on time!
Oh, and there’s no point spending time, effort and money on content and social media if it doesn’t convert. That’s why Watermelon Media is all about producing high-quality and engaging content that’s fit, quite literally, for millions of eyeballs – and then leveraging and amplifying that content across all platforms, be it in print, on desktop, mobile or social.
Go on, send us an email (email@example.com) or call us on (03) 9016 3153. We can’t wait to get started.
Samantha Amjadali (Director)
Samantha Amjadali is an experienced content marketing specialist who has worked in the Australian media for more than 15 years, across print, online, television and radio for the country’s biggest media brands, including the Sunday Herald Sun, heraldsun.com.au and news.com.au, as well as TV channels 9 and 10.
During that time, she has worked in myriad content generating roles, including section editor, news reporter, online editor and videographer as well as in other journalistic and production roles.
Samantha owns Watermelon Media, which specialises in helping businesses improve their digital marketing and social media strategies, but also their appearances among the public and the media.
Watermelon Media may be small, but it has provided content services to some big names, including one of the Internet’s first millionaire entrepreneurs, Monash University and Victoria’s biggest dance school franchise, Dance 101, as well as some of the country’s best-known real estate chains and Australia’s biggest digital accessories brand, Cygnett. We also just built Aussie comedian Dave Hughes’ website.
Samantha has a passion for content marketing and loves social media, which, she says is “about so much more than just whacking up posts on Facebook and Twitter or regularly updating your blog!”
Samantha grew Australia’s largest wedding Facebook community (http://www.facebook.com/EasyWeddings) – from 7,000 fans to more than 110,000 fans (mostly organically) and is in the process of creating several online productivity tools and three mobile apps.
Samantha has a Master of Laws (Juris Doctor) from Monash University. She can be contacted via firstname.lastname@example.org.
